Stampin Blends Collector Club


Starting Wednesday, November 1st, these amazing alcohol makers will be available for purchase.  In celebration I am sharing the information about a new club option; Stampin’ Blends Collectors Club.


I know that once you try these amazing Alcohol markers you will want them all, and who would blame you?  I have created a club to help you collect them and help with your craft Budget t00! You can buy them all or buy them a few at a time.   Either way, you will be able to attend training classes for FREE! 


Monthly Kits will include:  
 

- Stampin’ Blends—Number dependent on your club selection.
- Use of  any Stamp Sets and any other products necessary to complete each project.*
- A portion of the Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper to practice with your new Blends. (while supplies last)
- TWO Card Projects using the specific colors YOU received that month. 
- Envelopes for your cards.
- ME!  I will be there to teach you tricks to get the best results from your New Stampin’ Blends.  As well as to answer any questions you might have.

 Stampin Blends Collector’s Club Options
Option #1—Collect 6 Stampin’ Blends each month for 4 consecutive months along with the practice sheets, card projects, & envelopes.
  
Monthly Club Charge: $38
Color Groups:  Groups  will be provided in random order.
> Pool Party Light, Pool Party Dark, Pink Pirouette Light, Pink Pirouette Dark, Crumb Cake Light, & Crumb Cake Dark.

The club will show how to use alternative colors for one of the cards (& envelope) from the Color Me Happy Project Kit.

Here’s what the kit contained (I love the plaid lined envelopes!)

The anticipation for this kit was really exciting to be a part of.  Stampin’ Up! hinted that the design would be plaid related and that this kit would coordinate with next month’s kit (cannot wait to see that one too!!). 


I love Shaker Cards and this kit made some really cute ones.  The original designs are wonderful and I was tempted to just do them exactly as Stampin’ Up! suggested, however, I wanted to give you some more ideas.  I hope you like them! 
Alternative #1
I added the sweet sweater covered deer from the FREE Hostess Bonus stamp set, Merry Patterns to this fun card.  I also used the circle that was punched out of the ‘hole’ so it would show the bottom of the little gold cap on the ornament design.  I sponged it to add some color and added the pine twigs to look like brush around the deer.
Alternative #2
I wanted to see more of the plaid, so I cut one of the card bases to 3.75” by 5”, matted with Basic Black card stock (cs) and added some Shimmer Ribbon before adhering it to a card base of Old Olive cs.  Then I matted the pre-printed tree design onto more Basic Black cs before adding it over the that.  The sentiment was punched out with the Every Day Label Punch.  To add the matting on both sides I simply punched out another label from Basic Black cs again, cut it in half and added it to each end before adhering with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a little bling, I include a few Rhinestone Basics to ribbon and over the little pre-printed 'star' images. This is the only card that is not a shaker card.
Alternatives #3
I had a half of the card base left from the previous design so I decided to trim it to 4” x 5.25” and adhere to Basic Black cs base.  I kept it simple by adhering a simple strip of Black Shimmer Ribbon to the front.
Alternative #4
Similar to #3, I added just a bit of the same ribbon using Fast Fuse to hold the shape.  I topped the ribbon with a sequin from the kit and small Rhinestone Basic in the center.


Alternatives #5 and #6
These two are the same design, just different ribbons.  They are not too different from the original SU design, I changed the sentiment and it’s location.
